Canadian Government Says Help is On the Way for the Auto Industry; Swapalease.ca Is Ready to Help Now
(Cincinnati, March 9, 2009): The Canadian Government recently announced federal budget initiatives that would include the purchase of $12 billion worth of car loans and lease agreements from finance companies; but it could be months before the funds even start flowing.
Swapalease.ca has announced that there is no need to wait: help is available now through Swapalease.ca’s special Canadian dealer promotions and free listing offer for Canadian consumers.
Although this new government initiative will help many, some concerns range from whether or not cash-strapped consumers will still be able to transfer their leases if necessary once the government has taken ownership of the financing and if dealers will be able to stay afloat while waiting for the funds to become available.
In an effort to mitigate concerns stemming from this government initiative and as a way of reaching out to Canadian consumers who may need it most right now, Swapalease.ca is currently offering a free listing for your vehicle. Visit http://www.swapalease.ca/special to list your vehicle for transfer at no cost with no strings attached.
Swapalease is the world’s largest lease take over marketplace and has been helping thousands of consumers exit their leases early and save thousands of dollars since 1999. Yes, it’s possible to exit a BMW lease as long as this is not an employee purchased car and you are not in the final 6 months of the lease.
Things you need to know
There is a 500 dollar transfer fee that is typically paid for the buyer but could be a point of negotiation
Takes BMW 2 weeks to finalize all the paperwork for the new buyer to take over your lease
Once the new buyer has taken over there is no liability for you and no adverse items put on your credit.
If your buyer is out of state he or she may request an inspection of your vehicle the cost of this is another item that is negotiated.
There may be transportation costs involved if your buyer is out of state but this will be covered by the buyer
Getting an inspection or transportation is covered on the site so you will have a source to go to that can take care of these items if they are needed to successfully negotiate the transfer of your BWM.
When you have a buyer you contact BMW finance and they will walk you through all the steps necessary to meet their terms.
How do you get a buyer for your car?
A great starting point is to contact swapalease.com and speak to one of their agents so that they can set you up with an advertising package to meet your needs.
If it’s within your budget to offer an incentive on your car we have found that this helps the aid in finding your next buyer.
Other tips:
Once your ad is live add the maximum amount of pictures. I recommend shooting all 4 corners of your car one of the side, front and back and some interior shots.
get the link directly to your ad and post it on your face book and twitter accounts. If it is within your means make a video about your car and put it up on youtube. They key to a quick sale is exposure.
The average time to find a buyer is 45 days then allow 2 weeks for processing.

The bad news: Auto finance delinquencies reached record highs during the third quarter of 2008, according to the American Bankers Association. At the same time, the number of consumers looking to get out of their leases increased 24.5 percent in the fourth quarter of 2008 over the same quarter in 2007.
The good news: Cincinnati-based company Swapalease.com has options for consumers who might have otherwise defaulted on making their auto lease payments. These people are able to walk away from their lease by selling the remaining time on it to someone else, protecting their credit and saving them thousands of dollars.
“After my husband lost his job, we were trying desperately to get out of our Mercedes-Benz lease. Mercedes-Benz could do nothing for us but recommended we try Swapalease.com,” says Andrea Hooper of Pennsylvania. “In just two months on Swapalease.com, I had more than 1600 hits on my car, not to mention 9 interested buyers. The Swapalease.com employees were helpful and courteous, and in two months, we swapped our lease!”
On the flip side, buyers are able to get into a new car with a shorter-term commitment and little or no upfront costs by taking over a lease midstream. This is a valuable option for people who might be hesitant to lock themselves into a long-term financial commitment in an unstable economy.
“We are helping to lower default rates for those consumers who simply cannot make their lease payments any longer or who just wish to get out of their lease early to find a more affordable alternative,” says Scot Hall, EVP of operations at Swapalease.com. “In turn, these lower default rates reduce the risk for banks and reduce repossessions, which is good for everyone.”

After a 40 year hiatus the Chevrolet Camaro is set to return to the ‘Great American Race’, starring as the Official Pace Car for the Daytona 500. The annual event, now in its 51st year, is regarded by many as the most important race on the NASCAR calendar and a Camaro has paced the field just twice in Dayton 500 history. Those were in 1968 and then in 1969, and this 2010 model is scheduled to hit showroom floors in the second half of the year. The particular car that will be used on the Febr
